Our Little Story
MV Kiddle Land Daycare is licensed by NYS and all the staff has health and safety training and CPR/First Aid Training. And all the staff get a background check as well to ensure a safe environment for the child/children.
HOURS OF OPERATION
MV Kiddle Land Day Care operates during the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm M-F on a year-round basis. We offer a full-day program as well as a half-day program from 9am-12pm.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
The staff at MV Kiddle Land Day Care is comprised of highly qualified individuals with years of professional knowledge, training, and experience. The teachers are certified in their respective fields. Staff members participate in workshops and conferences including those sponsored by the New York Association of Young Children to continually advance their professional development. All our staff are required to submit to a CARI background check and fingerprinting. All staff members routinely have physical examinations maintained on file at the school as well as tuberculin tests.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT
The staff welcomes active involvement with parents of enrolled children. The opportunities available include assisting teachers by being a chaperone, participate in special classroom celebrations, be a volunteer at lunchtime or work on fundraising events. Parents may share their time and talent to help enrich the classroom.
COMMUNICATION
Teacher conferences are scheduled throughout the year and we are always available to discuss the progress of your child. A monthly newsletter is also distributed to inform parents of daily activities, upcoming events, and important reminders. Please refer to the MV Kiddle Land Day Care website for updates, program information and inclement weather closings. Communication folders go to and from school daily. Please make sure to check folders daily so that important information is not missed. Any new updates will be posted on the communication bulletin board in the main building.
